(Sorry to the other little stars.. This was me before I entered ASiS and UTP... I have my football team.. TEAM HAWK... and till now I'm still playing with them... hehe... you all can enjoy reading la... ^.^)
A great football match has been played today....Which is the most honourable and unforgettable Team Hawk Legends formally formed in SK Desa Pandan against the newly borned team....which is known as the Team Hawk Icons by the creator of Team Hawk...Remon Melchizedek....
It all started when all the Hawk Members gathered up at "OLD TRAFFORD (Padang Botak)" for a warm up and an ice breaking session. Then, it was the formation discussion time... Remon led his big and powerful team into the field...with Calvin the captain of ICONS bringing in his newly trained players....
The David and Goliath game had begun...
It was a tough game for the Icons as Legends were attacking as if they were in a war with more fire power...It wasn't long for Captain Marvel to break the deadlock.... scoring a scorching goal from a far range that made Hafiz the multi-talented keeper unable to save it...
But...the equalizer came within a few minutes....Why??? An unfortunate player from Legends conceded a penalty.... Calvin gave his scoring chance to Choon Liong to end his goal drought which took him to 3 goals for the season as a defender... all the players from Icons team were delighted.
Because of the determination.... Isfahan blast the team to a 2-1 lead... and that has made the defenders to boost up their spirit to block every shot that came from the Legends..... The 4th goal of the game came in when Choon Liong's corner kick came right to Calvin's leg for him to score a volley from outside the penalty box... It was a celebration for the team...
But it wasn't done yet.... Legends bounce back to shock the Icons... they scored a free kick which was taken by Dinesh... but it was disallowed as it was taken before the whistle was blown... They were really frustrated for the disallowed goal...
Just before the half-time whistle... Calvin brought their team to a 4-1 lead when the ball was cleared by Choon Liong and eventually fell to Calvin's legs and with a bit of good control of the ball... He scored after passing Legend's defender Danyal... With that.... it was the end of the first-half with the score Icons leading by 4-1 to the Legends...
After the half-time break...there was a change of formation in both teams... with Legends putting in a striker Mhthes a.k.a. Peter Crouch...and Icons adding up power to the left wing which is Nazim....
And it all started again...with Legends trying to get bounce back to equalize the game making it hard for the Icon's defenders....But Nazim made all the differences... With Calvin crossing in the ball from the sides making him score 2 goals from crosses and 2 more from the half way line which he dribble pass the defenders...
Talking about defenders...There is one defender who has been outstanding throughout the whole game...And he is MOGAN!!!!!!!!! He had been the heart of the defence after Danyal as he had prevented Nazim, Ashraff, Isfahan, Kheng Wai and Calvin to score for a lot of times...
Captain Marvel tried his best to bring up his team spirit to play a good game... But 'malang tidak berbau' the team was overcome by anger and frustration because all their shots were bounced off the cross-bar and the goal post... which made Choon Wai's shot the best chance of the game for his shot took the ball bouncing from one post to the other and in the end to the hands of the Icons keeper... It was really frustrating for him not to score...
Eventually...Remon scored his hat-trick and one more goal by the HAWK COACH who had played for their team... And Nazim with 4 goals...Calvin with 3, Isfahan with 2, and Hafiz with 1 and Choon Liong with 1...
The game ended right after the last goal scored by Calvin.
With the score 11-4...
It was a good game which made everyone leaving the field with a smile...
As for the man of the match....The award went to MOGAN for he had even kept up his pace to challenge Nazim... the fastest player in Team Hawk...
It was a really great improvement by him...showing off his potential to be in the first choice team taking over Ho Kar Fei's place...
But not forgetting the other defenders from the Icons....Ku Wei Xiong, Fong Kheng Wai, Dinesh, Fong Kheng Yu, Chan Choon Liong, and Lee Sin Ken....They had done a great job defending and also preventing the Legends from scoring...
Great contribution by them... As for the attackers... wonderful skills and passes by them that have brought Team Icons to the promise land...who are Isfahan, Ashraff, Nazim, and Calvin...
And that’s the end of the wonderful day of football...
Until next time... And the next time is going to be on this Saturday...
Legends vs Icons 2.0
I, Calvin Yong, as the Captain for the Icons of Team Hawk is sincerely saying from the bottom of my heart to team Legends... Good luck this saturday.. you'll need all the luck you have to bring down the Icons...
Remon.. may the better team wins... No hard feelings about this post...
Yours truly,
CALVIN YONG
